Basically you buy that extension (and a transporter), costs a couple million iirc, then you fly up to your target, reduce its shields, initiate the boarding transport, keep the shields down (it takes a bit to beam them over, half a minute or a full minute) all the time, and then when your guys are beamed over you can either fly away (out of weapons reach) or stick to it or whatever. It includes a transporter device based boarding. Have a look at the "Improved Boarding" script somewhere on the egosoft forum. However, you will need at least 10 if not 15 marines to complete. If you don't want to blow $40 million on an M7M then practice spacewalking boarding ops on one, they don't shoot back. Ideally you should be training 40-60 marines in the background as that is the most time consuming process, and you will need bodies to replace (especially if you want to go after Xenon ships). The end goal is a fully Shielded M7M with about 100 hammers (and many more in reserves) 150 flails, 50 - 100 boarding pods (always find more) 2 or 3 extra 1GJ shields for your prey once you finish the boarding.

If you don't have enough money for a complex then start buying those missiles from NPC factories (and topping up those facs with resources) OR buy one or two hammer fabs and flail fabs and buy the resources they require from NPC factories using CLS software.
